Psychosocial Management
Psychosocial Risk Assessments
A systematic, documented process for managing psychosocial hazards. Identify, assess, control, and monitor. All in one streamlined system.

Psychosocial risk documented and audit-ready
The Code of Practice requires four steps: identify psychosocial hazards, assess pyshcosocial hazards and risks, implement controls, and review outcomes proactively implement, maintain, monitor and review the effectiveness of controls.
Foremind structures your risk assessments around exactly that, covering all psychosocial hazard domains, connected to the incident reports and check-in data already flowing through the platform.
Every step is documented. Every decision is evidenceable. Audit-ready before you need it to be.

Support staff actually access, with utilisation data to prove it.
Identify hazards across every domain
Foremind's risk assessments cover all psychosocial hazard domains required by Safe Work Australia.
Identify hazards through formal assessments, anonymous check-ins and incident reports, not just what issues that get raised in staff meetings and toolbox talks.

Assess the likelihood, severity and exposure
For each hazard, evaluate how often workers are exposed (frequency), for the length of time ( duration) , and how severe the potential harm could be ( severity).
Rate the overall risk level - low, medium, or high - and identify interacting hazards that combine to increase the risk.

Implement and document controls
Assign controls to each hazard, putting in place both the support intervention and the systemic change that is required.
It is best practice to use higher-order controls in line with the Hierarchy of Controls. Document what was implemented, when and by whom.
When a staff member flags a hazard and books in a counsellor the same day, both are captured as part of your compliance evidence.

Monitor, review, and update
When incident reports come in or check-in data flags elevated distress, the Foremind platform prompts a review - are your existing controls working, or do you need new controls in place ones?
Assessments update as new information surfaces. The platform provides live and ongoing risk management, not a just a one-time exercise.
For the person carrying the compliance burden
Psychosocial risk management puts WHS/OHS and HR managers in a difficult position.
The obligation is clear, the process can be complex, and when something goes wrong the question is whether you can prove you managed the hazards and risks before harm occurred.
Foremind connects risk assessments to check-in scores, incident reports and counselling data already flowing through the platform.
So your compliance evidence reflects what's actually happening - not what was documented in a spreadsheet six months ago.

Yes. The obligation is proactive, not reactive. You are required to identify and assess psychosocial hazards before harm occurs, not after.
Not if WorkSafe comes knocking. Spreadsheets cannot demonstrate a documented, ongoing compliance process. You need a centralised record that shows identification, assessment, controls, and review all in one place.
A risk register captures a moment in time. Foremind connects the full workflow from incident reporting through to assessment, controls, and review, so nothing falls through the cracks and your compliance trail builds automatically.
A single assessment does not meet your ongoing obligations. The Code of Practice requires a continuous four-step cycle of identify, assess, control, and review, all of which need to be documented and audit-ready.
